Our Story
Born in the Little Rann of Kutch
Before cities and machines, there was the Rann — an endless white desert in Gujarat where the sun burned without mercy and only the resilient survived. Here lived the Indian Wild Ass: never the largest, never the fiercest, but the strongest in spirit.
When drought claimed the lakes, the Wild Ass stayed — running across blistering plains in herds that were alert, connected and unstoppable. Its power was never in standing alone, but in moving together.
Not from a boardroom. Not from a trend. But from a spirit.

We are building The Wildass Foundation to support its conservation: helping preserve its habitat, raising awareness about wildlife protection and backing long-term conservation programmes.
